Royal School is pleased to announce the official examination schedule for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint for 2025. The exams will be held on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, and Thursday, April 17th, 2025.

To assess students’ English proficiency, critical thinking, and in-depth academic knowledge, the school will conduct the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint exams for Grade 5 and Grade 8 students at Royal School - Phu My Hung Campus.

The exams will consist of three core subjects: Mathematics, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Science

The Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE certifications, managed by Cambridge, are recognised globally and hold permanent value. The Cambridge Checkpoint exams are specifically designed to assess students at the end of Primary and Lower Secondary education. These assessments provide an internationally recognised evaluation of students’ abilities before transitioning to the next level of education. 

To ensure optimal preparation, Royal School’s teachers have provided essential guidance and review materials. Additionally, the following rules and instructions for students taking the exams should be noted:

• Students must bring the necessary stationery to the exam, including pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and rulers. Simple calculators may be used where permitted. 

Please note:

• The borrowing of calculators is strictly prohibited during the exams.
• Students must arrive at the examination room 30 minutes before the exam begins.
