In celebration of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), Royal School successfully organized the “Teachers’ Melody 2024” Music Competition, featuring meticulously staged performances by the school's teachers and staff.
The event was honoured to welcome distinguished judges, including Meritorious Teacher - Dr. Truong Thi Viet Lien, Vice Chairman of the Board, Director of Kindergarten Education, Former Head of Kindergarten Education Department at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training; Ms. Dinh Thi Dieu Huong, Member of the School Board of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance; Meritorious Artist Cong Ninh; Musician - Singer Sy Luan, Director of HUTECH Arts and Culture Center; Actor Van Anh and Actress Tu Vi.
As experts with high professional competence, the judges provided the most impartial comments and evaluations for each performance.

“Teachers’ Melody 2024” was a vibrant and professionally organized music competition, featuring performances by seven talented teams from different departments and centres at Royal School. The performances spanned various artistic forms, including singing, dancing, musical theatre, and modern dance. From youthful songs about school life to patriotic songs expressing pride in Vietnam’s homeland, people, and culture, the event created a diverse and rich musical experience for all participants.

The “Teachers’ Melody 2024” Music Competition was not only an opportunity for teachers to showcase their talents, but also a creative artistic playground where their passion for education and the arts shone through. Each performance brought something unique to the stage, from graceful traditional dances to heartfelt patriotic songs and profound musical theatre performances.

The atmosphere of the competition heated up right from the opening performance. Each team’s performance surprised the judges, guests, and audience, with every piece offering different emotional tones and colours. From graceful, creative dances to powerful, moving songs, the performances left a lasting impression, stirring strong emotions in the audience. Despite being amateur singers and actors, the teachers demonstrated great creativity and investment in every aspect, from scriptwriting, choreography, and rehearsal, to the final stage performance.
